Description : The successful candidate is expected to participate in a range of workshops, classes and other curricular opportunities tailored, in so far as possible, to the candidate’s area of expertise. Classes are provided free of charge, but do not carry university credit towards a degree. The Global Studies Center at the University of Pittsburgh has endowment funding to support an early-career Lesotho national working in community health care issues for one or two semesters beginning in fall 2012. The endowment is able to support international transportation, lodging, health insurance and a stipend to cover food and living expenses.
