Description : Medical students at the University of Freiburg who envisage to join the MD/PhD program after having completed their MD can join a practical course in Molecular Medicine any time during their studies. We prescreen hundreds of complete applications and the selection committee assembles a short list of candidates who are invited for interviews in Freiburg. Candidates with a medical degree (MD) are eligible for the MD/PhD program. If they are admitted to the school either as track 1 or track 2 students their affiliation to SGBM will entitle them to register for a doctoral degree (Dr. rer. nat.) at the Faculty of Biology.
